Two Bucks on the Olentangy River Photograph Digital Download
Taken 7/22/15 about 1/2 mile south of Highbanks Metro Park on a 13 mile kayaking trip. This picture captures two young bucks along side the river a few days after severe flooding. Few things in nature are as stoic as a male deer.
This gorgeous picture is available in a large 3.1 megabyte file to be printed in the size of your choice. Would be an excellent addition to any interior space to remind us of the beauty of the natural world we live in.
A portion of the sale will be used in my efforts to destroy the invasive Honeysuckle in the area and plant native foods for the deer along the Olentangy River. This is something I will be devoting time toward whether or not I have support as I saw two does perish on the West Bank last Winter of starvation.
This Spring we have seen a young doe and her two fawns roaming the Clinton Como neighborhood in search of food. Your support is truly appreciated. There is a time when man must admit to wrongdoing and amend the facets of nature which he has injured or broken. This is something we must all take responsibility for. Turn off your TV and fix what is broken in your neighborhood. Community Service is not just for Criminals it is for all citizens. If you have time volunteer to improve your neighborhood! Grab a shovel or a saw, be a hero and steward of your community!
